When we left Kurt and Blaine last season, the new couple was just entering into a new phase of their relationship. But can they last through summer vacation. Chris gave us a brief status update.
“Oh absolutely. They really don’t have [many] other options do they?”
As for Blaine’s pending move to McKinley, Chris was hesitant to confirm or deny the transfer just yet.
“Well… you shall see.”
While his relationship with Blaine is nothing new, Kurt Hummel will be trying out some new dance moves. He explained that a recent dancing attempt actually took him straight from the “Glee” set to the hospital last week.
“Last week, we were filming a number where the glee kids try to recruit new members for their club. So we performed a number for the student body. Me with the bright ideas, always trying to make Kurt go the extra mile, I started exotic dancing on a table and hurt my foot.”
If Kurt does graduate and leave the show in the spring, there could still be hope for a future spin-off. While no details have been discussed at this point, Chris reveals that he is open to the idea of playing Kurt outside of “Glee.”
“I love Kurt. I love being him. I love the relationship with his father. I would love to move on with this character in some way, just selfishly for my own sake, to see how he grows and the person he becomes. So I’d love to move on with him.”
Outside of his commitment to New Directions, Chris promised that fans will see Kurt struggling with acceptance this season.
