Deep in the heart of Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, something truly magical is indeed underway. Over the past year, a brand-new Fantasy Land has been slowly taking shape, and PopWrapped was given a special invitation to visit the new park, which opens to the public on December 6th. The expansion marks the biggest remodel/addition in Magic Kingdom’s 40+ year history, nearly doubling its size. Even before entering the area, it was apparent that Disney had really outdone itself. The scale of Beast’s Castle is stunning and marks a truly majestic addition to the park. Upon entering the currently restricted area, the first thing we noticed was the vast amount of detail put into the exteriors. Beast’s Castle has been carefully nestled into the heart of the expansion, gracefully towering over the rest of the park. The snow-capped trees, luscious landscape and towering waterfalls perfectly accent this remarkable addition.

Below the castle lies Belle’s very own cottage, featuring an interactive attraction called
Enchanted Tales With Belle
Just a short walk away lies
Gaston’s Tavern.
The tavern is indeed as masculine and arrogant as its owners name would suggest. The walls are adorned with excessive amounts of animal horns, dart boards and the like, with a massive fireplace, featuring a nearly life-sized portrait of Gaston himself.

A bit deeper into the new FantasyLand expansion, you’ll find a fantastic ride, specifically catered to a younger crowd, called
Under The Sea~Journey Of The Little Mermaid.
Think The Haunted Mansion meets It’s A Small World.
This musical attraction takes you on a whimsical journey through the story of Ariel and her prince charming. The ride has an interactive cue line, in which you help sort all of Ariel’s “human stuff.”
This ride is perfect for easily frightened children and gives a visitors a wonderful, air-conditioned break from the Florida heat. The ride takes you through a journey of scenes from The Little Mermaid, including a star-studded cast and some fantastic special effects.
