“30 Rock” may have ended this week, but that doesn’t mean its legacy will! Ben & Jerry’s recently debuted a new flavor of their Greek frozen yogurt at a fan celebration for the now-departed comedy series. The frozen treat called “Liz Lemon,” is a lemon-flavored frozen yogurt that is complete with a blueberry lavender swirl. The treat, of course, is named after Tina Fey’s character from the hit comedy series.
Jody Eley, who is the marketing manager for Ben & Jerry’s, recently discussed the decision to name their new flavor after Liz Lemon: “We are always looking for a fun way to serve up a Ben & Jerry’s flavor, and when the R&D team came up with a lemon-based Greek Frozen Yogurt, there was only one name on the list.”
Fans of “30 Rock” and Ben & Jerry’s alike will be able to celebrate by purchasing the frozen yogurt, as it is set to hit stores over the next several weeks.
