No it’s not what you’re thinking. There are no signs of “Glee” on Broadway (anyone remember those rumors a few years back). But the next best thing is apparently happening. Broadwayworld.com reported that in a recent interview, Emmy Award winner Jane Lynch stated, “I hope to be coming to New York to do a musical this summer”. Jane went on to say, “It’s already in production and I’ll be stepping in. I’m really thrilled. I think its gonna be fun and if it doesn’t happen forget I said anything!” At first I thought she might be going into the long running revival of the hit musical “Chicago” but I second guess that because what parts could she believably play? Not like that would stop “Chicago” from casting her, they have a long history of stunt casting to boost ticket sales during the summer. Could it be “Wicked”? Maybe she’ll take over as Miss Hannigan in the revival of “Annie”? Oh the possibilities! Either way I’m sure Jane will pack the house night after night!
