After numerous rumors, it has been made official: Singer Fergie and husband, actor Josh Duhamel have revealed the news of their first pregnancy.
After the couple married in 2009, the press has been persistent with reports of the two having their first baby, but it wasn’t until today that the rumors were finally made true. Both announced, via Twitter, that they are officially expecting. 37-year-old Fergie tweeted the above photo of she and her husband in their childhood years.
When asked about starting a family just a few weeks ago, Duhamel told media that “It’ll happen. It’s happening. But every three months she’s pregnant (in the press). If she gets a little paunch everyone thinks she’s pregnant. It’s like well thanks, they’re basically calling you fat. But like my mom said, well, if she’s been pregnant as long as everyone says that she is, well then we’re going to have a baby elephant. We’re on our own schedule with that.”
Fergie is most well known as the lead singer of Grammy award winning band Black Eyed Peas and Duhamel has most recently been touring movie screens across the nation as the leading man in the film Safe Haven.
