How many apps is too many apps? That number seems to be limitless to me, considering my iPod has more apps than audio on it. And when it seems like you have every form of every game they have turned into an app, you find more.
I have discovered “Type This”. This app requires you to create an account or connect with Facebook to play. Once in the app, you can choose from your friends, search for a username or email or play with a random stranger.
The game is simple. You type out a list of words, or if you’d rather not think as much use a preset list. Once you tap play, you are timed on how fast you can correctly type those words. You gain points based on speed and correct spelling. You also collect bonus letters, which give you extra points.
The game is played in 3 rounds of 60 seconds, and the player with the most points at the end of the three rounds wins.
This game is highly addictive and once you start playing you don’t want to stop. It’s also a good way to improve your spelling and your hand eye coordination.
This app is free on the Apple App Store and I recommend this app for anybody who thinks they have the skill to type quickly and accurately.
