ATTENTION WHOVIANS! Details have been released about the first episode in the return of Doctor Who, along with a picture!

The second half of the season is upon us; it is time to get excited.

The episode will be called “The Bells of St. John” and it will be the first official time we are introduced to the new companion, Clara Oswald.

The episode, which will be broadcast on the 30th of March, will see Clara on her first official trip as the Doctor’s companion while they encounter a new Doctor Who villain, the Spoonheads. According to the BBC, the episode will, “establish a new nemesis, … who will battle the Doctor as he discovers something sinister is lurking in the Wi-Fi.” It will be the first episode in a series of eight which will also show us a journey to the centre of the TARDIS and the reappearance of the Ice Warriors.

On top of that, numerous guest stars for the rest of the season were announced, so have a look whether any of your favourite actors will be featuring this year! These guest stars include Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick,

With this season leading up to the 50th Anniversary, we shouldn’t expect anything less than action-packed episodes.

Steven Moffat gave a little sneak peek at what to expect this coming season: “There’s new Cybermen, new Ice Warriors and a never before attempted journey to the centre of the TARDIS. And in the finale, the Doctor’s greatest secret will at last be revealed!”
