The very first deal of 2013 SXSW was struck today when Drathouse and Snoot Entertainment to the distribution rights to the movie Cheap Thrills.
Cheap Thrills is a thriller comedy about a working class family man tempted into a series of escalating bets with a rich couple. The movie stars Pat Healy, David Koechner, Sara Paxton and Ethan Embry. It was directed by E.L. Katz, who makes his directorial debut, and written by Trent Haaga and David Chirchirillo.
