Jane Lynch is hitting the web as in web series. Teaming up with Lisa Kudrow and the team that brought Web Therapyto life the duo will take on the world of day time soaps. The series entitled Dropping the Soap will star Lynch as new head of network Olivia Vanderstein (that’s a soap name if I’ve ever heard one!) who will do anything she can to save struggling soap Colliding Lives.
Lynch will also take on the role of executive producer along with Kudrow. Joining them on the production front are Web Therapy Co-Creator Dan Bucatinsky, Marley & Me screenwriter Don Roos, Damon Bethel and Joseph Gomes of Webby Award-winning drama The Confession. No word on a premiere date but we will be sure to keep you posted!
