The drama lives on! April 29th marks the return of popular daytime soaps One Life to Live and All My Children. Both shows had been canceled from the ABC network after 40 years on air due to ‘changing viewing patterns of viewers.’ Prospect Park swooped in and saved the day buying the rights to both show and bringing them back from the dead (no that uncanny for a soap).

Production began on AMC February 25th while OLTL begins on March 18th. Both are being filmed in Stamford, Connecticut. Fans can stream the show on both Hulu and Hulu Plus and they will also be available on iTunes. Creator Agnes Nixon, who now sits in as creative consultant, is happy to see her work coming back to life. “I am grateful to Prospect Park for their unwavering commitment to this project and to the amazingly talented casts of All My Children and One Life to Live – their devotion to these franchises has made this moment possible.  And to the fans – well, we wouldn’t be here without you.”

Are you excited for the return of One Life to Live and All My Children? I’ll take a juicy soap over a talk show any day!
