Selena Gomez has released “Rule The World,” the first single from her forthcoming album. Following the very public breakdown of her relationship with Justin Bieber, the subject matter of this song is definitely unsurprising. When discussing the recording of her new album, the ‘Spring Breakers’ actress told MTV News that her personal and professional life took a “big turn,” and “it was incredible to see how I applied that to music because I’ve never done that before and it’s great”.
