As the Emmy-winning comedy comes to its end, ‘The Office’ star Jenna Fischer is making her theater debut! Neil LaBute’s new off-Broadway show ‘Reasons To Be Happy’ takes place three years after his Tony-nominated production ‘Reasons To Be Pretty’. After a contentious break-up, Steph (Fischer) and Greg are wondering if they can make a fresh go of it. Trouble is, she’s married to someone else and he’s just embarked on a relationship with Steph’s best friend. ‘Reasons To Be Happy’ opens at the MCC Theater, the same theater in which ‘Reasons To Be Pretty’ originated, before moving to Broadway. Previews for the production begin on May 16 (The Office finale date!) at the MCC Lucille Lortel Theater, and the play opens June 11.
