Reports had been circulating that Katy Perry had signed a book deal and was planning to write her autobiography. The book deal was reportedly for $2 million, which was considered to be quite a big deal and a moneymaker given her widely publicized divorce from Russell Brand. Rumors also had it that she was playing to talk about her much publicized relationship with John Mayer, which is still going strong as of this writing.
So are the reports true? A representative for Katy Perry has debunked all those reports and pesky rumors. There is no truth to these reports that a book deal had been inked. “No book, no deal”, her rep says of the rumor that originated in the Sun.
Guess for now we will have to rely on Ms. Perry’s songs for insight about her life and re-watch “Katy Perry: Part of Me”.
