Nick Jonas has announced on his Twitter he has joined the cast of ‘Careful What You Wish For!’

The movie is currently in pre-production, with shooting set to begin in April in Charlotte, NC, aiming for a 2014 release. Alongside Jonas, the thriller so far stars Isabel Lucas (Erica Martin in ‘Red Dawn’) as Lena, and is to be directed by Elizabeth Allen, whose previous directorial credits include Ramona And Beezus (starring Selena Gomez), as well as select episodes of 90210, The Vampire Diaries and Frankin & Bash. ‘Careful What You Wish For’ is set to be written by executive producer Chris Frisina, and centers on a young man (Jonas) who gets more than he bargained for when he starts having an affair with the young wife (Lucas) of an investment banker renting the lake house next door for the summer.  Things go south when the husband turns up dead, revealing a substantial life insurance policy.

This is not the musician’s first venture into acting, as he starred in the Camp Rock films, and the Jonas Brothers’ Disney series’, JONAS and JONAS LA.
