Oliver is going to need a bigger Arrow Cave.
The CW hit show announced two recurring characters have been bumped to series regular status come season two.
Following the footsteps of Emily Bett Rickards (Oliver’s IT gal pal Felicity Smoak), who was named a regular last month, Colton Hayes and Manu Bennett now join her.
Hayes plays Roy Harper, a pickpocket and potential love interest to Willa Holland’s Thea (Oliver’s sister) while Bennett has recurred as Oliver’s island buddy Slade Wilson.
With both Hayes and Wilson now regulars, it is unknown whether or not their characters on the show will eventually become their DC Comics character counterparts.
In the DC universe, Roy Harper is Oliver’s sidekick and is known by the nickname Speedy or Red Arrow. Slade Wilson is actually as the villain Deathstroke. The show had featured an iteration of Deathstroke this season that is until Wilson killed him.
