A Mad Men onscreen love connection is turning into a real life happily ever after for actors Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser. A rep for the actress tells E! News that the costars are engaged to be married!
The former Gilmore Girls star and her beau first made their red carpet debut back in October and have been going strong since. The 31-year-old Bledel and the 33-year-old Kartheiser looked incredibly happy in each other’s company and blissful to have found each other as they beamed on the red carpet.
On the show, Bledel’s character was an unhappy housewife who turned around and seduced the pants off Kartheiser’s sleazy character, Pete Campbell (the character’s a real piece of work as fans of the show know). Guess Kartheiser’s real life charms were more honorable than his character as the pair hit it off screen as well.
For the gorgeous couple, this will be the first marriage for both. As of today, there are no details about the upcoming nuptials. US Weekly was the first to break the news about the engagement, with sources telling the magazine that Vincent popped the question a few weeks ago and that the ring is pretty epic (translation: huge!).
