So he can sing (if you haven’t seen him sing, then YouTube is calling your name), he can dance (as demonstrated at the Oscars), he can act (that’s obvious – TDKR, Inception Looper, the list goes on…) he can direct (he’s starred in, written and directed his latest movie Don Jon’s Addiction) and he can write…is there anything the
adorable
Joseph Gordon-Levitt can’t do?
In an announcement on Twitter yesterday, Mr Gordon-Levitt announced that his hit production company ‘hitRECord’ was branching out in the form of a TV show.
The production company founded by JGL and his brother Dan Gordon-Levitt, is an online collaborative community that produces short films, books and DVDs via contributions from artists all over the world – the internet has its uses!
Anyone with a
creative
talent can submit their work and potentially have it used for a production, hitRECord use work from graphic designers, writers, musicians, video editors, photographers and all other creative forms. If they use your work
you
get credit and get paid for it.
Expected to launch 1st August 2013, hitRECord TV will launch on Participant Media’s new channel ‘Pivot’. Joseph Gordon-Levitt will host the show whilst also running the production side and viewing submissions from the public.

I’ve always been a massive fan of JGL (ever since he was in 10 Things I Hate About You) I admire his work ethic, but even more than that, I admire his passion. He’s the
opposite
of selfish; he’s essentially funding creativity, to those who may not have the opportunities or resources available to them. In my eyes Joseph Gordon-Levitt can do no wrong. Now, everyone else in Hollywood take note, because Joseph Gordon-Levitt has just added another title(s) to his resume, mogul and inspiration!
