It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League have found a new home! Starting on September 2nd 2013, FX announced this morning that it will debut a new network, FXX. Comedies have always seemed a bit off on FX as they tend to have a more gritty/drama/action packed air about them. Now they will have their own stage!

Catering to the 18-34 demographic FXX will lean more towards the comedic side. Debuting 4 brand new comedies in their first year, and launching six more in the second. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League well debut on the network in the Fall of 2014. This is a smart move seeing as both shows already have quite the following. The FX comedy Legit has been picked up for a second season and looks like it will also be making the transition.

In addition to new shows FXX will have quite the collection of syndicated shows in its repertoire. How I Met Your Mother will heading on over along with Rescue MeParks & Rec will make its syndicated debut and Sports Night will be joining. Now try not to flail too hard (well I mean I did not sure if you will) but… Freaks & Geeks and Arrested Development will also be aired (SQUEEE).

This has probably been the best news I’ve heard all day as I’ve been looking to shake-up my networks! Do you think you’ll tune in to FXX? Let us know @Popwrapped!
