Pixar announced that the film will be released on November 25, 2015.

The flick will see the return of Ellen DeGeneres as Dory and Albert Brooks as Nemo, as well as the director Andrew Stanton.

In a press release released by Disney, DeGeneres expressed her utmost excitement:

I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time. I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.’ But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”

According to Hypable the film will take place a year after the end of Finding Nemo and you can expect to see all of your favourite characters along with some new ones.

Stanton said that is it, “Set in part along the California coastline, the story also welcomes a host of new characters, including a few who will prove to be a very important part of Dory’s life.”

I think it is safe to say we are all going to be counting down to 2015 to see what our favourite fish friends are up to!
