The first TV trailer for the new “Man of Steel” film has finally hit the airwaves and we’ve got it for you! Zach Snyder’s take on the Superman story has been widely anticipated since it was announced in October of 2010 that he had been signed on to direct the feature film. Zach Snyder is most well-known for directing Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen, and 300.
The Superman story is one that has been told and retold, but “Man of Steel” is on point to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year, and early buzz from those who have had screenings have called it “action packed, ass-kicking, and heartfelt”.
For this diehard Superman girl, I have seen the trailer dozens of times since it premiered at SDCC last year, and I still get tears in my eyes every time I have seen it since, and this TV trailer isn’t any different. I’m pretty sure I’m going to need someone to volunteer to go with me and hold my hand for emotional support when “Man of Steel” hits theaters Friday, June 14th.
