After break out star comedian Kevin Hart was arrested on suspicion of DUI Sunday morning, he took to his account Twitter to speak out to his fans about the incident.
“Drinking & driving is not a game or a laughing matter,” he tweeted “People have lost lives because of stupid s— like this!” He went on to say, “This is a wake up call for me,” Hart continued on Twitter. “I have to be smarter & last night I wasn’t. Everything happens for a reason.
A California Highway Patrol Officer pulled over Hart after his black Mercedes nearly hit a tanker truck on Highway 101 in Los Angeles. The “Real House Husbands of Hollywood” star failed a routine sobriety test and was booked for misdemeanor DUI. He was released later that day after posting a $5,000 bond.
Glad to see that Kevin isn’t turning this into a joke but a life lesson.
