In a move that no one saw coming from the head honchos at Fox, there was a plot twist of sorts when it came to the renewal of Glee. Just like any of the plot lines on the hit dramedy, Fox threw the world a curveball by renewing the show for not one but TWO more seasons!
This pickup means that Gleeks get to sing it out through Season 6!
Fox president Kevin Reilly had this to say about the renewal after giving thanks to Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan, and Dante DiLoreto: “Thank you Glee team for a series that not only delights and surprises fans, but also inspires them to talk about, share, debate and engage with the show… I’m absolutely thrilled to have them on board for another two seasons.”
There you have it, Gleeks! Guess we won’t have to stop believing anytime soon!
