I don’t know how anyone else feels, but I am getting really sick of the film industry feeling that they need to remake EVERY movie they can get their grubby little hands on. Now, since the man who helped John Hughes do the original version of this movie is redoing it. Joel Silver is his name, and I hope he does the movie justice.

Michael Bacall is set to write the reboot, and he is the writer for “Project X”. The apparent plan with this reboot, is to make it edgier than the original version, they will be aiming towards making the film like The Hangover. I can’t wait to see how this turns out. As a fan of John Hughes growing up, I hold these folks to extremely high stands when it comes to them redoing movies I love.

Sound off, what do you guys think of this movie getting rebooted? Who should play Lisa and the geeks?
