Thanks to Netflix, the critically acclaimed, award winning series Arrested Development has been brought back to life after Fox killed it after three seasons on the air. Alabama.com caught up with Tony Hale about his return to the role of Buster Bluth after such a long period has passed, and he admitted to being hesitant to reprise the role.

Hale comments, “If there was a hesitation, not having done the character in seven years, there was a concern of whether I could match expectations,”  “But when I first heard Jessica Walter’s voice – the character’s mother – it was just a click right back in.”

Hale also had nothing but praise and adoration for Arrested Development showrunner, Mitch Hurwitz, and his brilliance in leading the show. “I just love that element of surprise, of not having any idea what’s coming next,” Hale remarks. “Look at my character. His hand was bitten off by a seal; Liza Minnelli was my girlfriend. You’re just constantly surprised!”

So to all you Arrested Development fans, make sure you keep your Netflix up to date. The new fifteen episode fourth season will be available on May 26th.
