When Big Bang Theory executive producer Steven Molaro begins discussing the season finale by saying “Leonard and Penny are in the best place they have been since they started dating,” you know he’s got something big in store for the couple! This comes in the form of an incredible overseas job opportunity for Leonard, which he is hesitant about due to his relationship. Penny is said to be “generally supportive, but sad” about the offer, and there is no doubt that, should he take the job, “she is very much going to miss him.” But will he take the job? Molaro promises fans will know by the end of the episode, so make sure to tune in to ‘The Bon Voyage Reaction’ on May 16 to find out.

There is still plenty of Big Bang action to come ahead of the season six finale though! Coming up, Leonard and Sheldon book their childhood hero Professor Proton (played by TV star Bob Newhart) to hang out with them on May 2, Sheldon and Amy address their sex issues, Bernadette’s opinion on having children with Howard begins to “soften,” and Raj continues to pursue Lucy.
