Despite the fact that the internet has been buzzing like mad about Michael Bay feeling the need to apologize for the film Armageddon, I can think of many things that that man should apologize for. He spoke with the Miami Herald in an interview while promoting his new film Pain & Gain, and somehow ended up apologizing for Armageddon by saying: ” I will apologize for Armageddon, because we had to do the whole movie in 16 weeks, it was a massive undertaking. That was not fair to movie.”
I’m inclined to agree with what he said about it being a massive undertaking. Also with it being unfair to the movie. If it was unfair to the movie and it was a massive undertaking, then perhaps he could have done us all a huge favor by NOT making that movie. This doesn’t even end up counting as a real apology because now he is claiming that what he said was taken out of context.
From what I can remember, this is not the first time something he said he claimed has been “taken out of context”. I don’t think this is going to be the last time that will happen.
