We all know Joseph Gordon Levitt is a multi-talented actor. He can sing and dance and ain’t too bad on the eyes. Then you have Channing Tatum, who like JGL isn’t too bad on the eyes and boy can he dance. The bigger question… Can he sing?
Both actors are in demand for a new adaptation of Guys and Dolls. The stage show, which was penned by Frank Loesser, Jo Swerling, and Abe Burrows, was made into a film in 1955 and has had remake’s rumored in the past. The biggest hang-up was Loesser’s widow refusing to approve any of the ideas.
Currently the project has no writer or director attached but Fox is eager to land Tatum and Gordon-Levitt. The duo would be portraying suave gamblers Nathan Detroit and Sky Masterson. The roles were previously portrayed by Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando. Those are so big shoes to fill!
