The rumor mill seems to think so.

Although she performed in the US, Egypt, Brazil and Singapore during her Angels Advocate tour in 2010, her last world tour was way back in 2004. Given the success of her collaboration with Miguel on the smash hit “Beautiful”, it certainly appears the rumours have some substance.

“Beautiful” has reached the top spot in 25 countries and has cracked the Top Five in 45 other countries.

Additionally rumours are circulating that she’s not coming back to American Idol  – could a world tour be the reason why?

Fox Chairman of Entertainment, Kevin Reilly, says that no firm decisions regarding the judges line-up will be made before the Season 12 Finale on Thursday

Mariah’s 13th studio album, also called “Beautiful”, is due out this summer. The lead single’s success gives her a total of 30 Mainstream Top 40 entries on the Billboard Neilsen BDS-based radio airplay charts, tying with Britney Spears for the second most entries.  Rihanna holds first place with 35 entries.

Fans are begging for a world tour! High hopes are that Ms Carey is listening!
