What I’m about to say may sound really bad, but hear me out! I totally, completely love Leonardo DiCaprio, to a somewhat obscene degree. Due to this love, I can totally vouch for the fan who paid
$1.5 million dollars
to sit next to DiCaprio himself on a trip to space.
Arranged by Harvey Weinstein (famous film producer and Hollywood exec) the trip was billed as “a once-in-a-lifetime trip to space with a mystery guest” on the Virgin Galactic Voyage thrown together by Richard Branson, Virgin’s founder and chairman.
Another pair of seats sold for $2.3 million dollars on the same flight, and at the end of the night all proceeds (a paltry $25 million; no big deal) went to AmFAR Cinema Against AIDS charity.
Well Leo, it looks like you’re going to be the sexiest man ever to be in space. Godspeed, beautiful.
