ABC Family announced on Tuesday that they are renewing its comedy Melissa and Joey for a fourth season. This comes along with the news that its third season is going to be expanded to 20 episodes!
Melissa and Joey, which stars Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence, aired its first season back in 2010. The comedy follows politician Mel Burke (Hart) and a “manny,” Joe Longo (Lawrence), who she hires to look after her niece and nephew. The series ranks as ABC Family’s highest comedy debut ever and will be the first comedy on the cable network to reach 100 episodes.
Season 3 will premiere tonight (May 29) at 8pm kicking off “Comedy Wednesdays” for ABC Family’s summer programming!
