Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence can sleep safe tonight knowing that her stalker has been arrested. Zhao Han Cong, 23, has reportedly been harassing Lawrence’s brother Blaine repeatedly for the past month but has been apprehended by the FBI.
He allegedly requested that the actress’ brother put Cong in touch with her, suggesting that “bad things” would happen to Lawrence if he were not allowed to “protect” her.
Cong flew to Kentucky, Jennifer Lawrence’s home state, and continued to contact Blaine. He was finally apprehended when he went to a local police station and asked for the home address of Jennifer and Blaine’s mother. Cong was involuntarily hospitalized, pending a psychiatric evaluation, before being arrested upon his release.
