British magazine OK reports that Stephen Fry will be making his Broadway debut, playing Malvolio in the original production version of Twelfth Night

The male only version of the Shakespeare play, also starring Olivier Award winner Mark Rylance, opened at the iconic Globe Theatre in London last September and transferred for a sellout run at Apollo Theatre at the end of 2012.

The play will begin previews at Manhattan’s Belasco Theatre in October and will officially open on November 10th.

As with the London run, the company will also be performing Richard II with Rylance in the titular role.

The performance met with positive reviews in London last year and can’t wait to see what New York audiences think of this all male production.

Twelfth Night/Richard II opens at Manhattan Belasco Theatre November 10th 2013.
