Arrow star Stephen Amell and his wife Cassandra Jean are expecting their first child together!
The couple first got married back in December 2012 while on vacation in the Caribbean, and recently celebrated a second wedding during Memorial Day weekend with family and friends present.
The news of the pregnancy was first broken by Just Jared last week, but the two confirmed the news while walking the red carpet for the opening ceremony of the 53rd Monte Carlo TV Festival.
The mom-to-be revealed that she hasn’t had any crazy cravings, and the CW superhero definitely sounds thrilled to be a father. “I’m excited — no I’m not excited, I’m very excited! I’m sure that nervous energy will accompany that eventually, but only in a positive way,” Amell told ET Canada.
There’s no word on how far along Cassandra is, but we’re definitely happy for the beautiful couple!
Stephen Amell is currently promoting his hit show, Arrow, at the Monte Carlo TV Festival. And from the looks of his twitter account, he seems to be having fun crossing paths with the stars of The Young and the Restless: “Going to a party celebrating 40 yrs of The Young & the Restless tomorrow. Great time to announce I watched religiously from ‘89 – ‘95.”
