The Independent Film Channel has made an investment on the show Portlandia for its fourth and fifth season.
Portlandia is the hit sketch comedy series that airs on IFC. The show stars former SNL member Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein.
“Portlandia has celebrated sustainable local agriculture, underemployment, avian crafting, gender politics…and so much more,” Jennifer Caserta, president and general manager of IFC, said.
“We can now celebrate two more seasons,” Caserta said. Fans will be able to look forward to season four in early 2014.
