After six long years, Josh Homme and his band Queens of the Stone Age find themselves number one on the charts again.
Their hot new album,…Like Clockwork, debut their album at number one on this week’s Billboard chart. The album sold 91,000 copies in its opening week.
This is the first chart-topper for the band. This is also the first number one on their indie label Matador.
…Like Clockwork has also sold 12,000 of those copies on vinyl, making it the second-biggest single-week vinyl sale in history.
This is great for band leader, Josh Homme, after a rough six years and an almost fatal car crash.
