Channing Tatum Says He Wants To Be Like Jennifer Lawrence!

It’s hard to believe that Channing Tatum would want to be anyone but himself. The former exotic dancer has been at the very top of Hollywood’s “it-list” since his huge box-office hit Magic Mike was released last summer. Since then, he’s been offered a slew of new roles, been named People’s “Sexiest Man Alive,” and has welcomed a new baby girl, named Everly, with wife Jenna Dewan into his home.

Tatum has been quoted as saying: “I wouldn’t mind being the male Jennifer Lawrence; I think she’s incredibly cool.” Lawrence seems to be one of the most laid-back and “real” stars around today. It’s not surprising that her peers admire her!

Tatum also touched on his sex-symbol status and how bizarre it is to him, as he finds it difficult to keep himself in shape.

“I’m a fat kid on the inside,” he jokes. “I love food so much, and I fluctuate about 25-30 pounds between movies. I feel like I have to do a chess movie that requires very little movement at some point, just so I can eat pizza and play chess on the beach all day.”

He then added: “And then [I’d] eat more pizza and cheeseburgers and drink beer. That’d be amazing. I’d give anything for that. I gotta figure that movie out.”

We will keep our eyes peeled, Channing!
