We recently reported that Idris Elba would be taking on the role of Nelson Mandela in the upcoming, Long Walk to Freedom and now it appears we’ll be seeing Idris again as Luther, in the critically acclaimed crime drama with the same name.
According to Susanna Lazarus of the Radio Times, “The crime drama starring Idris Elba as the eponymous troubled detective will return for a final series, beginning on Tuesday 2 July at 9:00pm on BBC1. The first of four 60-minute episodes will see Luther assigned to a difficult case by his boss, Schenk (Dermot Crowley), investigating a malicious tormentor, unaware that his every move is being watched.”
