A first-look photo of Michelle Trachtenberg in National Geographic’s biopic Killing Kennedy has surfaced. The Gossip Girl star stars as Marina, the Russian wife of JFK’s assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald (Will Rothhaar).
In the photo Trachtenberg is seen carrying a baby, who we can all assume is the Oswald’s daughter, June. Trachtenberg was unrecognizable sporting the 1960s hair. This role marks her first Russian speaking role.
A picture of Will Rothhaar as Lee Harvey Oswald was also posted, showing the assassin examining a rifle.
A few weeks ago the first look at Rob Lowe as John F. Kennedy and Ginnifer Goodwin as Jacqueline Kennedy was revealed. Casting was definitely on par.
Killing Kennedy is based off of the novel by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard. It will follow President JFK before his tragic assassination by Lee Harvey Oswald in 1963.
Production of the film started at the beginning of this month and is still ongoing. It is set to release in November in time for the 50th anniversary of JFK’s assassination.
