With the sequel to The Hunger Games (Catching Fire) releasing this year, preparations for part one of the final installments is starting. That includes casting the characters of District 13.
The most important role of District 13 President Alma Coin has reportedly been cast. Julianne Moore is set to play the leader of the rebellion against the Capitol.
Moore just recently won an Emmy for the role of Sarah Palin in the HBO series Game Change. She is also a hot commodity right now. She has upcoming roles in the Carrie remake, starring with Jeff Bridges in Seventh Son, and appearing in Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Don Jon.
Catching Fire opens this November.
