Saturday Night Live funny man Seth Meyers is set to marry his long term girlfriend Alexi Ashe, according to US Weekly.
Meyers met his now fiancée – a legal rights lawyer – at a friend’s wedding several years ago, and they live together in New York. No details are yet available as to whether a date has been set for their own nuptials.
A friend of the couple reported, “They are incredibly solid. He’s very excited for the next phase of his life. He’s known that she’s The One for a while, but it was all about timing.”
Meyers is due to replace Jimmy Fallon as host of The Late Show in 2014, and getting married would surely be the icing on the (wedding) cake!
