It seems like One Direction member, Liam Payne, is still in bad terms with some 1D fans. The group had a show in Auburn Hills, Michigan on July 12th and Payne noticed a few fan signs that were not so very nice. In response, Payne tweeted an apology early Saturday morning to fans, showing his appreciation for everyone that has supported him and the band.
But what exactly did Liam do to anger the fans? These negative reactions from the fans of the British boy band may have stemmed from a twitter rant made my Payne back in June. On the morning of June 21st, before their show in Atlanta, Payne tweeted his frustration with someone.
“Whoever is ringing our rooms please stop it’s not funny ur just pissing everyone off,” he first tweeted. “Next time it’s ur day off school nd u fancy a ly in il call u n see how u like it?” Payne continued on and received a lot of hate tweets in response and many fans believe that he was mad at them. The following day, on June 22nd, he tweeted again to clear up any confusion, apologizing for the way he reacted.
Maybe this time around, those angered fans will accept his apology. Liam and the rest of his One Direction band mates will continue their North American tour, with their last stop in Los Angeles on August 10 before making their way down under to Australia.
