Lea Michele’s representatives have released a statement on behalf of the actress and singer who is currently coming to terms with the untimely death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith.
The statement which was given to PEOPLE reads
“Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends, and fans. Since Cory’s passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them. They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together. We continue to ask the media to respect the privacy of Lea and Cory’s family.”
This statement follows the announcement from British Columbia Coroners Service which was released earlier today.
Our thoughts continue to be with Lea, Cory’s family and the cast and crew of Glee at this difficult time
RIP Cory.
