Rebel Wilson joins fellow Aussie, Kate Jenkinson, for Super Fun Night on ABC.
The two comedians from Down Under previously worked together in their home country on sketch comedy series The Wedge and Bogan Pride, according to Deadline.
“It’s the anti–Sex and the City,” Wilson said at the ABC Upfronts, reported Vulture. “When these ladies eat at night, they’re not talking about dick.” She also assured viewers that although the show will be filled with her Rebel-ways, she’ll be staying true to her network rating, “Don’t worry, I won’t be doing a Lena Dunham,” she quipped. “I’ll only put my boobs out if it’s necessary for the storyline or a Wednesday.”
Rebel Wilson rose to fame after appearing in comedic hits like Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect, and took her comedic antics to the stage when she hosted the MTV Movie Awards this year. We couldn’t be happier to have Rebel in our lives on a weekly basis; it’s going to be super fun!
