Is this a publicity stunt or is this actually what DJ Khaled does to woe women?

The 37-year-old, Khaled bin Abdul Khaled – better known as DJ Khaled – visited MTV News on July 25 and took advantage of the massive media outlet. He recorded a video message that asks 30-year-old “Super Bass” singer, Nicki Minaj, to marry him.

He begins the video by stating, “Nicki Minaj, I’m at MTV, I wanna be honest with you; I love you. I like you, I want you, I want you to be mine.” He then continues with, “Only reason I’m not telling you this face to face is because I understand that you’re busy.”

As the video nears its end, the melodramatic background music cuts out and DJ Khaled whips out an 10-carat ring estimated at $500,000.  If you weren’t blinded by how huge that ring was, MTV cheekily added “Your move, Nicki,” at the very end of the video.

To DJ Khaled’s dismay, she has not yet replied with a simple “yes” or “no” but instead retweeted the video to her followers for all to see.

Maybe writing a song for her on his new album Suffering from Success (which is out at the end of September) would have been more affective.

Also, can we discuss the purple quilted headboard background he was sitting in front of?  Hilarious.
