It was announced that principal filming was beginning on Episode 3 of Sherlock today (Monday 29 July) and although we STILL don’t have an airdate we do have some new information to report for us Sherlockians.
Executive producer Sue Vertue, who is also the wife of Steven Moffat himself, has introduced the world to Sherlock’s new adversary. So may we introduce Charles Augustus Magnussen, who is played by Lars Mikkelsen.

There is very little known about the elusive Mr Magnussen however, there is also the appearance of the hashtag #sherlockr3vealed and the picture below.
We will have to keep watching the hashtag to discover more, however one theory already on the internet is that we could be getting a new revelation every day for the next five days and the final one is the airdate of Season 3.
We will keep you all up to date with the developments on this as they arise, however kudos to Steven Moffat and the team for making us all feel a little like Sherlock himself.
