Have you ever felt the need to have 2000 friends? Personally I can’t even maintain, like, twenty, but hey, if you’re some sort of social god, grab yourself a PS4 because, yup, you can now play games with 2000 buddies. Hooray!

Aside from some seriously sexy graphics (at least from what I’ve seen so far), Digital Spy reports the PS4 has a couple of other features as well;  a customizable menu, PlayStation Move support, transferrable PlayStation Network ID and avatars, a gigantic 500 GB hard drive, and of course, 3D content. Because, you know, we all like to see everything in the third dimension because everything looks way, way cooler.

All kidding aside, check out this video for more details on the upcoming Xbox One contender.

Unfortunately, DualShock 3 controllers won’t be supported. Personally, though, I’m more excited to delve into the PS4’s indie game support.

With the rise of independent games like Braid and Minecraft, Sony made an incredibly smart move by allowing self-publishing on their machine. While Sony won’t be getting any of the profits, indie developers will flock to the PS4, which means their indie game market will (hopefully) become too enticing to resist.
