CurrentEditorials via Digital Spy reports Apple has settled on the unveiling of the iPhone 5S on September the 18th. A less expensive handset will be revealed on the same day. The actual release date for these two devices for the US appears to be set for September 27th.
While Apple hasn`t actually gone ahead and confirmed the existence of the `cheaper` iPhone (it apparently has a hefty price tag of $349), images of a plastic iPhone have been leaked onto the internet, in contrast to the metal or glass designs. Personally I`d go for the plastic version, if it really is being released. It`s cheaper and less easy to shatter than the glass version.
The new iPhone 5S will have a 4-inch display, the same resolution as its predecessor, a 12-megapixel camera, dual-LED flash, an A6 processor, 2GB of RAM and an LTE radio.
