T.V. interviews, radio interviews, commercials, contests, giveaways, radio play… most musical artists probably spend as much time promoting their albums as they do making them. However, Daft Punk are not most musical artists.
The French duo, consisting of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, rarely do T.V. appearances and have not done much promotion for their newest album, Random Access Memories, which was released earlier this year.
However, fans will be need to tune into Comedy Central, set your DVRs or find a live stream as it has been confirmed that the two will be making an appearance on The Colbert Report tomorrow night (Tuesday August 6). It is unclear at the moment whether they will be performing or just being interviewed, or both. We certainly vote for the last option.
Guess we will all “Get Lucky” when we tune in tomorrow to find out.
