For fans of ABC hit show Grey’s Anatomy the comments made by the network President, Paul Lee, have to be a good thing.
Lee has said that he hopes the medical drama will continue, “for many, many years to come.” He also said that he is “very proud” of the show which stars Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo.
According to Collider, the executive said that Shonda Rhimes (the show’s creator) is, “an extraordinary creative force.” The medical drama which starts its tenth season on September 26, also spawned a spin off Private Practice which ran for six seasons – it was cancelled in 2012.
Grey’s Anatomy is still the number one drama on ABC and Lee called that, “an extraordinary accomplishment, after so many years.”
Season 10 of Grey’s Anatomy begins on September 26 on ABC.
