If you are a fan of that “wacky clone show,” Orphan Black, like I am, then any bit of news, even the smallest amount, gets you excited for the debut of the second season of the show in April 2014. For people that watched the show, you will remember that season one ended with a cliffhanger that doesn’t really allow the show to fast forward in time any.

Show creators, Graeme Manson and John Fawcett realize this and told TV Line that when season two begins, they will hit the ground running with the story where we left off! High fives all around, Clone Club!

Another bit of information that the creators told TV Line involves the idea of more clones. When asked if we would be seeing anymore, Manson replied that they are a clone show, and “I think it’s safe to say we would love to meet a new clone in Season 2.”

However, don’t expect just clones of Tatiana Maslany coming out of the walls because that’s not what they want. Any clones that are added, will be thoroughly thought through and made sure to have a great impact on the show. “We treat our [clones] very seriously and don’t want to introduce a lot of redshirts,” Manson tells TV Line. He adds, “We don’t want throwaway clones. If we’re going to introduce a new clone, we’re going to work very hard on it with Tatiana.”

All of the above sounds great to me! Honestly, I can’t enough of Tatiana Maslany on my screen so I’m totally down for a new clone!
